Leaving Home: A Poem

Hello there!
I know I haven't said a whole lot on here for awhile. The reason why is that I've been busy graduating and preparing to go to college. It's interesting learning in this time of life. I had no idea that I could learn so much in this time before starting college.
The past couple months, I've been able to get my feelings into thoughts and words through poetry. This a poem I wrote this last month that pretty much sums up how I've been feeling and what God has been patiently reminding me.

Leaving Home

The world spinning
around the sun
On and on
The tide rolling
Back and forth
As it's always done.
The time ticking
Slowly, quickly
Always the same.
My wish
My begging
Never
changing it.
Time won't hold still.
Time won't pause for me.
Gazing around
I see
God's hand directing
Everything.
His timing is perfect.
How then
Can I complain?
